Milk production does not stop overnight, it is a gradual process. The process of stopping milk production takes about 2 weeks and you can contribute to it in several ways:

Without drugs and by gradually stopping the production of milk by partial pumping. The most critical are the first 2 days, after which the production of milk will decrease rapidly. During these days, the milk should be pumped by hand or with an electric pump, but only in such a quantity that you relieve the tension and leave as much milk as possible in the breasts. Thus, the breasts will not be completely emptied and a large amount of milk will not be formed (supplemented). Start pumping 5-6 times a day, it can be more or less, you have to follow the feelings in your breasts. Gradually reduce the number of squirts and the amount of pumped milk. Milk production will naturally decrease until it gradually stops completely.

You can also reduce the production of milk with the help of homeopathic medicines. To stop milk, Ricinus Communis gra 1x4 g (30CH) is used in a dose of 5 granules 2 times a day. You can combine homeopathic medicines with sage tea. Sage reduces the production of breast milk, it is advisable to drink 3 cups of tea a day.

You can consult your gynecologist about stopping lactation, who will prescribe the necessary hormonal drugs or an injection.

In discussions, women also recommend wrapping their breasts with walnut, grape or cabbage leaves. One of the ways is to bind the breasts with a compression bandage and to take a smaller amount of fluids, but in this case there is a risk of clogging of the milk ducts. That's why we definitely don't recommend it.
